Neighbours

In the situation between the domineered and their dominant neighbours a strange psychological relationship occurs whereby the greatest all consuming sense of a superior calling amongst certain dominants derives from their origins in a domineered sub-ordinated culture. This feeling of being sub-ordinate must be overcome at all costs in an ever reaching exaggerated psychotic search for his rightful position, which of course it isn't, to the detriment of all and sundry: Hitler was an Austrian; Napoleon was a Corsican before Corsica became French, in fact it even came under the English crown for a while; Stalin was a Georgian who at times had difficulty speaking Russian and Jean-Marie le Pen was born in Morbihan, Brittany. It brings to mind certain Welsh politicians, fortunately in world terms they are insignificant and time is against them.

Here is the song for you, as an attachement.
Part fiction, part reality. Most of it was something I dreamt in the tent. I had been in Brittany for only a week when I asked you "where is the closest camp site?" You the directed me to the garden of the pub, pointed at the ground then replied, "here." Great moment. I'll never forget it.

Was wonderful pleasure to sing Myfanwy with you on the streets of Landerne.

Much respect. Take care.

Only one point left

Normality returned after the elation of yesterday; after having received 3 invitations for the Green Pigs' concert today I made a point of going, marked it on the page, and although having all the time in the world, dropped off for a moment which put me in an otherwise unnecessary hurry, I was within less than 5 minutes of Landerne(au) when I was stopped by a police radar trap, to top it off, my registration plates didn't correspond to the number on my 'carte grise' which is an involontary offence, I got there half an hour late to catch one tune and take one photo before they took a break, as I was feeling as their name suggests I wasn't in the mood for music so I shook hands with Kevin Camus, got back into my car and drove home, as I approached the Sizhun roundabout I was stopped by the police......

Baptism day

It was my grandchildrens' christening/baptism saturday and I had a day long red wine drinking session celebrating it in close family. I only normally drink traditional draught beer and perhaps because of that I had difficulties in getting out of bed on sunday. For some reason I'm still feeling uneasily heavy minded about it today tuesday.

Van wanted.

Amongst all the people I know, there must be someone who is willing/able to sell me a Ford Transit or its equivalent very cheaply if possible; things are not working out as foreseen and aren't being helped by my having to make at least two journeys to set things up, thereby adding time and the risk of theft.

An inauspicious occasion

My first market day as I meant to go on, with permit, covering and tables did not get off to an auspicious start; the plastic covered photos blew into the lake and the glass covered photos take in water, when I put up the back and sides for protection, the tent disappeared into the lake as it wasn't weighted down, now I have two damaged tents. The plastic covered photos were recovered without harm, so now I will put them under glass for more weight and protection. I didn't go today because of the rain and having to think things over. Tomorrow is my grandchildrens' christening so I will try again sunday. It's starting to become very expensive which is defeating its purpose!
