From a Welsh Perspective

What is England if not part of Gt. Britain albeit a central & large part, so how come the British Channel has become the English Channel? What exactly is an English garden? being that it's not unique to England unless we have adopted English habits in Brittany; Do the Welsh Irish and Scots have to pay to share in the English weather? What did we used to call English oaks before Hengist & Horsa or did they bring the seeds with them? in that case they'd be German Oaks; early English architecture is French, the English Royal Family has never had an English King or Queen, the present incumbents having changed the family name from Saxe-Coburg Gotha to Windsor; an English Dictionary is so full of words from abroad that my Oxford version doesn't even bother with the 'foreign words & phrases' section anymore; and what is an Anglo-? agreement considering that there is no English Civil Service; and while I'm at it, the real name of the Bristol Channel is the Severn Sea! I'm sure I could go on, but I won't; I think that is enough dreamt up in 10 minutes to wonder just what is or perhaps more pertinently, was going on.
