It's Christmas
Today my son-in-law brought me a second hand television for Christmas; I've got an opened spaghetti packet, some dried mashed potatoes, teabags, coffee and 25 euros which I'll be spending tomorrow on breakfast cereal, milk, eggs, tomatoes & onions. My rent is now being paid for, thank goodness, so that's one weight off my mind. I've got my car back on the road, although it still has a battery problem, but it doesn't matter anyway because the insurance runs out on Jan. 1st. I've just begun tasting one of Gareth & Liliane's Welsh beers, something I've never done before is drinking beer at home by myself without an occasion such as a rugby international, but what am I saying, it's Christmas.
