Wales face Italy in Cardiff on Saturday as the 2010 Six Nations draws to a close.  Cardiff City are back to winning ways and hope to continue with the visit of Watford on Sunday.  Meanwhile Newport County have clinched promotion to the Blue Square Premier - see some scenes of their celebrations and follow all this weekend's action via our sports pages.
 
 
 
 
*** TEXT YOUR THOUGHTS TO THE BIG SCREEN ***
 
Rugby fans, residents and visitors will be encouraged to display their thoughts on the BBC Big Screen in Cardiff in its first ever texting talkback experiment.  TXT2Crowd will invite people to send text messages to the screen on Saturday from midday till 2pm, just before Wales v Italy kicks off.    Take a look at some earlier trials at Chapter and the Vulcan pub.

Which of Merthyr Tydfil's famous sons or daughters deserves be immortalised in steel and featured in a portrait bench in the town?  That's the question local residents are being asked for an art initiative devised by sustainable transport charity Sustrans.
