DENNIS COSLETT
REBEL HEART.
Calamity
You pursued the interests of Wales
with single-minded determination, as
you strode boldly down the corridors
of Westminster. For your Welshness I
salute, repugnance for your foolishness.
I bless you and pay you supreme tribute
for your gift of speech.
How swiftly you fell under a shroud of
deceit, and then let scream a wailing
howl as vultures ventured to devour
your bleeding flesh.
You crossed a forbidden threshold.
Whatever you sought, let it remain
to fate and mystery. You cared not of
fear nor failure, with this crown of
festering thorns placed upon your head,
Will you ever weep this grief away?
