Went to Brest today for a meeting with the radiography specialist, he called me in with a smile on his face (accompanied by two of his colleagues) as he informed me that the radiotherapy treatment was successful in diminishing the size of the tumour, he showed me the computer screen to compare the images, on the left of the screen, we could see a large tumour, to the right in its place there was nothing any longer to be seen. Also the prostate is reacting positively to treatment. I will have an operation at the end of the month to cut out what's left of the tumour, burn the cancerous part of the liver, but will leave the prostate to continue hormonal treatment but they will return there after the operation for a second operation and a revolutionary new method that will see the permanent insertion of a miniature drip. I am optimistic for a successful eventual outcome.
